Havas PR CEO and noted trendspotter Marian Salzman writes on Forbes.com that the cool location of the moment is now … Utah. “A rash of new studies and rankings is proving that the Beehive State, and especially Salt Lake City, is increasingly the place to be,” she writes. The state is tops in both economic performance and job growth, and its cities consistently rank highly in quality-of-life measures. And why is Utah doing so well? For one thing, Salzman says, it has been investing wisely in education at all levels, which “pays off in spades.”
